Somebody cleans the office every day.
– The office is cleaned every day.

Somebody cleaned the office yesterday.
– The office was cleaned yesterday.

A dog bit the boy last week.
– The boy was bitten by a dog last week.
– На прошлой неделе мальчика укусила собака.

A loud noise woke us up. (wake, woke, woken)
– We were woken up by a loud noise.
– Нас разбудил громкий шум.

Exercise 1

Make the sentences passive:

1. Somebody sends emails. (send, sent, sent)
2.  Somebody cuts the grass. (cut, cut, cut)
